I had the pleasure to start my day at Washington School this morning. The time I spend with the teachers and children of Schiller Park School District 81 is always an affirmation as to why I chose to enter the field of public education. Over the last several years I have been blessed to work with stakeholders who understand the importance of keeping their eye on the children when making decisions.

As a result of that mindset, and the leadership, dedication and passion of many, District 81 has developed a full continuum of stellar Special Education services. I am proud of the work we have accomplished on behalf of our students. As always, I extend my sincere gratitude to the professionals I am fortunate to work along side each day in support of the children of our learning community.
