Thank you Mayor Piltaver for Hosting the Schiller Park Coat Drive!

School District 81 families were extremely grateful to participate in a coat drive that provided warm winter coats for families who needed them this year.  It was a great experience for both the Mayor and I to visit with the students and their families at Kennedy School.  We spent time with friends in our Parents as Educational Partners (PATS) program, and it was fun to see Mayor Piltaver make many young new friends while making crafts and posing for pictures with the children! I know she was very excited to spend time with the families in Schiller Park, and took a great deal of pleasure in hosting the coat drive.

Both the Mayor and I were born and raised in Schiller Park, and I am proud to work alongside another woman who has dedicated her efforts to making positive changes in our schools, the Village of Schiller Park, and the community at large.
