A Beautiful Show of Gratitude for Our Veterans

Monday’s holiday was celebrated together in our schools to honor our highly regarded veterans. The performances and activities dedicated to the service men and women who have given us so much made me extremely proud. The characteristics that our veterans model for our students include honor, bravery, sacrifice and pride. I am so happy to see School District 81 give this much-deserved praise and honor to these heroes across our nation and those in active service worldwide.
