Schiller Park Fire and Police Departments Play the Lincoln Lightning Boys Basketball Team!

I spent a very enjoyable Friday evening watching an action-packed basketball game and had a wonderful spaghetti dinner prepared by our Athletic Booster Club volunteers. The Lightning managed to pull off a win when the score of the game miraculously shifted in their favor!

Thank you to  the coaches, parents, volunteers, players and spectators who attended this event.  I especially want to thank the on and off duty officers and firefighters who support our schools and make these events so fun for the kids and their families.  Because of these individuals, the children in School District 81 are experiencing what it is like to grow up in a true community, surrounded by adults in their world who care about them.
