A Fun Day for Families at the 3rd Annual Project Heart Well Run/Walk

Congratulations to all who participated in the third annual Project Heart Well 5K race this past weekend! I was not able to attend the event this year, but received great news that it was another success!  The District 81 Community Foundation registered 230 runners/walkers. The event included a dj, face painting, and magic tricks for families to enjoy throughout the day.  Mayor Piltaver was a special guest who delivered the opening speech and kicked off the race.  School District 81 is proud to support the Foundation and the benefits that it continues to bring to the community of Schiller Park.
