This morning my day started with kindergarten students from Kennedy School. Spending time in the classrooms watching the dedication of our teachers and enthusiasm of our students always leaves me inspired and reminded of why I went into this profession many years ago.
My time with fresh-faced kindergarten friends this morning was uplifting and rewarding. The sincerity of a kindergartener is admirable. They say what they mean and mean what they say, whether we want to hear it or not!
They come to school excited and ready to accept the challenges in front of them. On this particular day some of the many challenges they faced included learning the letter “a” sound, recognizing the colors pink and purple, and learning what a “muse” is as they participated in art class.
They are both curious and cautious as they navigate this new idea of staying at school ALL day. Most importantly, they are adorable and we are truly blessed to have their presence and sincerity in our lives. Thank you for sharing your kindergartener with us, they bring us so much joy!
