Special Olympics Basketball Team Celebrates with Me!

Taking time out to eat lunch with members of the Schiller Park Sharks made my day!  The Sharks have been busy training for their Olympics events and playing in the Project Unify basketball game last week.  I am ecstatic that these students are having such remarkable experiences in our schools. They have made friends across the district and continue to grow positive relationships with each other, their peers, and the District 81 faculty and staff. What a great way to start the week!
