Leyden High School’s Fine Arts Tour Visits Lincoln Middle School

Leyden High School’s Fine Arts Tour made its way to Lincoln this week, and it was an amazing showcase of talent.  This tour offers our middle school students the opportunity to think about the various fine arts programs they can get involved in at Leyden.    

Performances included music played by the symphonic and jazz bands and the orchestra.  The Madrigals sang for Lincoln students, and the Orchesus and color guard performed routines.  Visual arts included a film that highlighted drawing, painting, ceramics and animation.  Some of our Lincoln students and Humanities teacher, Ms. Weyna, got involved too. They acted in a skit with the Ledyen theater group.  

Mr. Bryan Miller, Director of Bands for Leyden High Schools introduced the many Lincoln graduates in the group of performers, and a few Lincoln alumnae were happy to pose for a picture with Mr. Miller.  I know that our District 81 graduates will continue to make us proud with their many accomplishments and talents!
