Board Member Appreciation Day!

District 81 honors our Board of Education for their service, commitment and dedication in honor of School Board Members Day, which is officially celebrated on November 15, 2012. Our school board members serve without compensation. They always put our children at the forefront of their decision-making and because of their leadership District 81 provides stellar learning opportunities for our students.

 As elected officials, District 81 board members are the voice of our community, serving first and foremost in the best interest of our children. On behalf of the District 81 learning community, I thank the Board of Education for their continued support of District 81 students and programs.

 Our school board members deserve recognition and gratitude for their genuine commitment to the continuing success of our students now and in the future.
