5th Grade Students Excited to Embark on Springfield Trip!!

The fifth grade students from Washington School left for a day trip to Springfield, Illinois this morning. They arrived at school bright and early for a 7am departure to the Abraham Lincoln Memorial Museum. When I arrived at Washington School this morning, I was greeted by enthusiastic students, parents and teachers who displayed sincere excitement about the learning opportunities that lie ahead. The students promised to send pictures and emails to showcase their experiences today and I will share those in a later post. For now, please enjoy the pictures of this morning’s big send off!
