Santa Claus Visits District 81

The children at both Kennedy and Washington Schools were delighted with a special visit from Santa Claus on December 19th! Santa was accompanied by many of Schiller Park’s finest men and women in blue from both the police department and fire department. Our school resource officer, Detective Russ Klug, is one of the few people with a direct connection to Old Saint Nick! Detective Klug has organized annual Santa visits for many years. The children are always very excited to tell Santa their Christmas wishes. Once again, I feel fortunate that both the Schiller Park Police Department and the Fire Department partner with District 81 to provide memorable experiences for the children.
