Washington School Battle of the Books

The students at Washington School participated in Battle of the Books on Friday, December 2, 2011. Many students participated in the event with over 35 teams entering into the competition!! The students were well coached by  faculty members from Washington School, as each team had a faculty representative who prepared them for the battle. The event was full of high energy and the students had an excellent time competing against their  fellow classmates. All teams demonstrated excellent comprehension skills in front of the entire student body. It was clearly evident they were well prepared for the Battle of the Books. I am proud of the students’ enthusiasm as well as the continued dedication the faculty and staff at Washington School. Congratulations to the winning teams: The NFL Champs, The Tigers, and The Flaming Eagles!
