District 81 Chorus Students Honor Veterans

The chorus students from Kennedy, Washington and Lincoln School provided a stellar Veterans Day Concert on Thursday, November 10th. Several Veterans from both the Schiller Park and Franklin Park American Legion were present at the event.
The students sang patriotic songs and read beautiful tributes in honor of America’s heroes. The Veterans were presented with hand painted flower pots, a heartfelt gift created by third graders from Kennedy School.
At the completion of the performance, several Veterans thanked the students and expressed their sincere appreciation for a beautiful evening.
