Congratulations LMS Cross Country!

The boys and girls cross country teams had a great showing at the Final Cross Country Conference held on October 12th at Ridgewood High School. The students demonstrated sportsmanship and commitment, and I realize that when these athletes run, they run not only for their own success, but the success of their team.

The 6th grade boys team took first place, and the 6th grade girls team took third. As a result of their performance both teams earned a trophy, which will be added to the LMS trophy case.

Several of our students at Lincoln Middle School placed for their personal performance. I am proud of the success of our students and their commitment to living a fit and healthy lifestyle.
