Meet the Kennedy School Mascot!

The staff and students at Kennedy School participated in the first Student Celebration Assembly for the 2011-2012 school year!

The Kennedy School Mascot came to life today. The children were very excited to officially meet the Kennedy Kubbie! All students at Kennedy School were taught the sign language symbol for the word friend and they promised the new mascot they will be a good friend to their fellow Kubbies this school year.

The Kubbie made a grand entrance during the assembly. The children will participate in naming their school mascot over the next several weeks. The Kennedy School assemblies are a fantastic example of the supportive and energetic learning community the staff and students live and work in each day at Kennedy School.
